Trilawil Capsule is used to treat Wilson’s disease by removing excess copper from the body. It works by binding excess copper in body tissues, carrying it to the kidneys where it is finally removed via urine.

You should take it on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after meals. You may check body temperature every night for the first month of treatment. You should inform the doctor if you notice any symptoms like fever or skin eruptions. Your doctor may regularly check your blood iron levels. It may cause side effects like nausea, skin rash and anemia (low number of red blood cells).
