Benefits of Olintol Infusion
Cerebral edema (accumulation of excessive fluid in the brain)
Symptoms of brain swelling (cerebral edema) include headache, dizziness,
nausea, numbness or weakness, loss of coordination or balance, loss of the
ability to see or speak, seizures (fits), memory loss, incontinence, or
altered level of consciousness. Olintol Infusion decreases brain volume by
decreasing overall water content in the brain. This helps to reduce the
accumulation of excessive fluid in the brain. It helps to relieve these
symptoms effectively within a short duration of time and prevents further
complications.

How Olintol Infusion works
Olintol Infusion is a combination of two medicines: Glycerin and Mannitol which treat increased pressure in the skull/brain. Mannitol is an osmotic diuretic which draws water out of tissues in the brain and decreases swelling around the brain. Addition of Glycerin prevents the swelling from coming back which may possibly occur with plain Mannitol.
