Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of diarrhea. It kills diarrhea-causing bacteria. It also manages the symptoms of diarrhea such as stomach pain, cramps, loose stools and helps in easy passage of gas.
Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

How Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet works
Enterosulphazyme Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diloxanide, tinidazole and simethicone. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide which acts inside the intestines to kill the infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). Diloxanide is combined with tinidazole in case of severe intestinal infections. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
