Troid 5mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of vitiligo and psoriasis. It reduces the overproduction of skin cells and helps to re-pigment the discolored, white patches.

Troid 5mg Tablet is for external use only. Use It only under the direct supervision of your doctor. The affected area should be clean and dry before application. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean.

Common side effects include burning, itching, irritation, and redness at the site of injection. It may also cause blisters on your skin. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Avoid direct contact with your eyes. In case of accidental contact, wash your eyes with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.

Application of Troid 5mg Tablet can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Avoid exposure to sunlight. Use sunscreens and cover yourself with protective clothing for at least 8 hours after treatment. Avoid eating certain foods like limes, figs, parsley, parsnips, mustard, carrots, and celery, as they may increase the skin's sensitivity to light.

Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses its natural color in patches. Troid 5mg Tablet effectively blocks that process in the skin that leads to discoloration. It also reduces any redness, rash, pain, or itchiness that may be caused by this condition. This improves your self-esteem and confidence as your appearance changes. You should always use it as prescribed to get the full benefits.

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a condition where the skin cells in the body grow too quickly and form scales and dry patches. They can grow anywhere, but most appear on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back. Troid 5mg Tablet reduces the scaly, itchy patches along with other symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, or irritation which may develop on the different parts of the body. Use it for as long as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. It may take several months to become fully effective. You should avoid drinking alcohol while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

• Troid 5mg Tablet is given for the treatment of skin disorders like vitiligo and psoriasis.
• Take this treatment (Troid 5mg Tablet and UVA) two or three times a week with the treatment spaced at least forty-eight hours apart.
• Do not increase the amount of Troid 5mg Tablet if you are spending extra time in the sunlight or under an ultraviolet lamp.
• Use sunscreen with your doctor's consultation and wear UVA-absorbing wrap-around sunglasses following treatment with Troid 5mg Tablet.
• Wear clothing that protects your skin from the sun.
• Be careful before applying anything to your skin to treat dryness and itchiness caused by Troid 5mg Tablet.
