Thelmex Oral Solution is an anti-helminitic medication. It is used in the treatment of worm infections. It works by killing the worms that cause infection. The killed worms are then passed in the stool.

Thelmex Oral Solution should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Some people may experience headache, dizziness, nausea, hair loss and vomiting, as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. You may be monitored with blood tests and liver function tests throughout your treatment.

These killed worms are then passed out along with stools. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Thelmex Oral Solution may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• It can be harmful to an unborn baby. Do not take it during pregnancy. Use birth control measures to prevent pregnancy while taking Thelmex Oral Solution.
• Your doctor may monitor your blood counts and liver function before you start taking this medicine and regularly throughout your treatment.
• Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of infection.
• Do not skip doses and finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may increase your risk of further infection.
