Sensotherm Gel is a combination of three medicines is used to treat dental cavities. It reduces the pain and sensitivity that occur while having cold and hot food items. It also makes the teeth stronger and also kills the bacteria that cause cavities.
Sensotherm Gel is strictly advised for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only to the affected teeth. It should not be used in excess amount and avoid swallowing it. In case of accidental contact with your eye, rinse it off with plenty of water.

How Sensotherm Gel works
Sensotherm Gel is a combination of three medicines: Potassium Nitrate, Sodium Monofluorophosphate and Triclosan. Potassium Nitrate works by calming the nerves in the teeth to reduce sensitivity from hot and cold foods. Sodium Monofluorophosphate works by making the teeth stronger and preventing decay (cavity) caused by bacteria. Triclosan kills the harmful bacteria and fungi by attacking their outer covering.
Quick tips
- Sensotherm Gel is used to prevent cavities and to reduce pain from sensitive teeth.
- Apart from using maintain good oral hygeine by brushing teeth thoroughly for at least 2 minutes twice a day (morning and evening).
- Always use a soft-bristled toothbrush and brush with gentle strokes
- Reduce your intake of sweet and acidic food until you are completely relieved from pain and sensitivity.
- Have regular dental checkups at intervals recommended by your dentist (this is normally at least once a year).
