Predly 5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicine called steroids. It is used for the treatment of redness and swelling in the eyes caused by infection or allergy. It provides relief from redness, itchiness and soreness by stopping the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Never use Predly 5mg Tablet if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Wash your hands before using it and shake the bottle well before each use. Make sure you remove contact lenses if you wear them and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back. Do not stop using this medicine without asking your doctor. Stopping the medication before time may allow the bacteria to continue their growth, which may result in the return of the infection.

The most common side effects of Predly 5mg Tablet are burning sensation, irritation, watery eye, or blur the vision temporarily. If your vision is blurred or you have other changes in sight for a time, do not drive until your vision is clear.

Treatment of Redness and swelling in the eye
Predly 5mg Tablet helps relieve symptoms such as pain, redness, swelling, itching and watering of eyes due to an infection, allergy or even after an operation of the eyes. This medicine works by decreasing the production of certain chemicals that cause inflammation of the eyes. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. Use it as prescribed to get the most benefit. If you see no improvement even after a week, talk to your doctor.

Treatment of Severe allergic reactions
Predly 5mg Tablet is a corticosteroid. In addition to the many other benefits, it can be used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions. This medicine works by reducing the inflammation associated with allergies. It is a highly effective medicine. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor to get most benefit from it.

Treatment of Allergic conditions

It can be used to treat a great many different inflammatory and allergic conditions including arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, ulcerative colitis which affect the skin, blood, eyes, lungs, stomach, and nervous system. Treatment of Nephrotic syndrome
Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder that causes your body to pass too much protein in your urine accompanied with excessive swelling over various parts of the body such as around the eyes and in the feet and ankles. Predly 5mg Tablet works by suppressing the immune system thereby reducing inflammation and swelling that occur in nephrotic syndrome. It reduces the protein in the urine and also helps in getting rid of the extra fluid, thereby relieving the swelling over different parts of the body. This helps to restore the normal kidney function and prevents further damage to the kidneys.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Predly 5mg Tablet is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.

• Your doctor has prescribed Predly 5mg Tablet to treat redness and swelling (inflammation) of the eye.
• Do not use Predly 5mg Tablet for more than the prescribed duration as it may cause glaucoma or secondary infection.
• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
• Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
• Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
• Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
• If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
• Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
• Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Predly 5mg Tablet. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
• Do not stop taking Predly 5mg Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms.
