Introduction To Novex DS Tablet
Novex DS Tablet is a medicine used as an oral contraceptive pill. It helps to prevent pregnancy as it does not allow implantation of the fertilized ovum to the womb (uterus).
In higher doses, Novex DS Tablet is also used to control abnormal vaginal bleeding in women who have not attained menopause (end of the monthly menstrual period). This medicine is only taken once a week, either with or without food. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor is the right person to decide the exact dose, hence follow your doctor's advice.
It is a non-hormonal medicine with very minimal side effects but in some cases, it may cause irregularity in your menstrual cycle. If this bothers you or appears serious, let your doctor know.
