MHG Lotion

MHG Lotion is a medicine for the treatment of vitiligo. It is effectively used in combination with other treatment methods for the best result. It lightens the skin by increasing the elimination of melanin (skin-darkening pigment) from skin cells.

MHG Lotion is for external use only. You should always use it exactly as your doctor has told you. The affected area should be clean and dry before application. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean.

Common side effects include dry skin, skin irritation, and burning sensation at the site of application. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Avoid direct contact with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention.

This medicine can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses its natural color in patches. MHG Lotion effectively blocks that process in the skin that leads to discoloration. It also reduces any redness, rash, pain, or itchiness that may be caused by this condition. This improves your self-esteem and confidence as your appearance changes. You should always use it as prescribed to get the full benefits.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

MHG Lotion is a repigmenting agent. It works by causing migration of skin cells (melanocytes) from the area of skin surrounding the vitiligo patch. This in turn causes the production of melanin (skin darkening pigment) and restores the skin colour.

• MHG Lotion helps lighten the skin in people with vitiligo.
• It may take up to 4 months to complete treatment. Keep using the medication as prescribed.
• Apply it in a thin layer to the pigmented areas of skin and rub in gently.
• It can make your skin more sensitive to sun. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors.
• It may also cause changes in the color of your untreated skin. Talk to your doctor if this bothers you.
• Inform your doctor if your condition does not improve after 1 month of treatment.
