It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Mefenamic Acid works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

  • You will be administered Mefatin Spas 10 mg/250 mg/10 mg Tablet to get relief from abdominal pain as well as acidity and heartburn.

  • Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while you are taking this medicine. Do not use a stool softener (laxative) without first asking your doctor.

  • Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Mefatin Spas 10 mg/250 mg/10 mg Tablet.
