Mahazone 1gm Injection

Mahazone 1gm Injection contains ceftriaxone, which belongs to the group of antibiotics called cephalosporin. It is used to treat severe gram-negative infections, including pneumonia, meningitis, pyelonephritis, and gonorrhoea. This medication is also prescribed for bacterial infections in the ear, nose, abdomen, skin and urinary tract.

Mahazone 1gm Injection is injected directly into a vein/muscle or given as a drip/cannula under the supervision of your doctor. This medicine is administered at evenly spaced intervals as per your doctor's prescription. Do not stop taking this antibiotic before the prescribed dosage is finished, even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early can lead to a return of or worsening of the symptoms.

Side effects of Mahazone 1gm Injection include nausea, vomiting, vaginal itching, rash and diarrhoea. You might also notice a slight redness and warmth in the area of injection. These adverse effects usually go away on their own and should not be of any concern. Talk to your doctor if they persist.
