Introduction To Lofnac Gel

Lofnac Gel is a combination medicine used topically to relieve pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. It also improves blood circulation at the site of application as well as produces a cooling effect on the skin.

Lofnac Gel is for external use only. Use it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not use more than the prescribed amount as it might increase the side effects. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medicine, unless hands are the affected area.

On application, it may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. If any of these do not subside on its own or get worse, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects. Before taking the medicine always consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have any medical conditions. Let your doctor also know if you are using any other medicines.

How Lofnac Gel works

Lofnac Gel is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac diethylamine, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate and Menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Menthol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil which further reduces inflammation and improves blood circulation at the site of application. It also increases the penetration of Diclofenac diethylamine through the skin. Methyl Salicylate produces a cooling effect on the skin.
