Laretol Capsule is the active form of vitamin D. It increases the levels of vitamin D in your blood which in turn raises calcium levels in the blood by helping in the absorption of more calcium from your intestine. This way it helps in the treatment of calcium deficiency and postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Laretol Capsule is also beneficial in increasing muscle mass, helps in the prevention and treatment of hypocalcemia, as well as helps in reducing fatigue and muscular pains. It boosts immunity and increases body resistance against infection.

• Along with taking Laretol Capsule, maintain a healthy lifestyle, include calcium-rich food in your diet, exercise (regular weight-bearing exercise) with your doctor's advice, and take proper measures to reduce the risk of falls.
• It is recommended that you take Laretol Capsule at bedtime, preferably at least 2 hours after dinner. You may lie down immediately after taking it if you wish.
• If you take antacids (medicines to relieve heartburn) or medicines containing calcium you should take them at least 2 hours after taking Laretol Capsule to avoid interference.
