Gigadict Tablet

Gigadict Tablet is used in the treatment of opioid dependence and alcohol addiction. It works by blocking the euphoric feelings (highs) that Some people may experience after taking opiates and alcohol. This reduces the craving and helps you stay away from them.

Gigadict Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly at a fixed time each day to get the maximum benefit of the medicine. Continue taking the medicine for as long as the doctor has prescribed it. DO not stop taking the medicine until you have finished the full course.

Common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, nervousness, anxiety, sleep disorders, restlessness, abdominal pain, joint pain, muscle pain, and weakness. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking the medicine as you may feel dizzy or tired.

Opioid dependence
Opioids are prescribed to treat pain. With prolonged use, the body may become dependent on them and cause withdrawal symptoms, which makes it difficult to stop taking them. Gigadict Tablet helps prevent these cravings that lead to opioid dependence and also helps the person to refrain from taking them repeatedly.

Alcohol addiction
Gigadict Tablet is a medicine used, along with social support and counseling, to help people recover from alcohol addiction and to avoid having the urge to drink alcohol again. Gigadict Tablet starts working from the very first dose and is a very safe and effective way of treating alcohol addiction.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Gigadict Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

• Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
• Do not consume opioid derivatives while on this treatment.
• Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how Gigadict Tablet affects you.
• Your doctor may check your liver function before starting treatment and regularly thereafter.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
