Gencil DM Eye Drop is a medicine used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes and ear. It kills and prevents the growth of infection-causing bacteria. This way it relieves the symptoms and speeds up the healing process.

Gencil DM Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye or ear. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Gencil DM Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Gentamicin and Dexamethasone. Gentamicin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye/ear by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy.
