Fluzit M Eye Drop is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of eye pain. It relieves redness and swelling of the eye and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort caused by various conditions.

Fluzit M Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Use of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Fluzit M Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: flurbiprofen, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and phenyl mercuric nitrate. Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

• You have been prescribed Fluzit M Eye Drop to ease pain and discomfort in the eye.
• Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution of this medicine.
• To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
