Erocol Plus Ear Drop is a medicine used to treat bacterial eye infections. It kills and prevents the growth of infection-causing bacteria. This way it relieves the symptoms and speeds up the healing process.

Erocol Plus Ear Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Use it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor or as instructed in the label. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Complete your dose even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection.

Use of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.

Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. Use it 2-3 times a day for at least a week or as prescribed by the doctor. Your symptoms might improve after using Erocol Plus Ear Drop. However, make sure to complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

• Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness)

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Erocol Plus Ear Drop is a combination of three medicines: Chloramphenicol, Clotrimazole and Beclometasone. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth while Clotrimazole is an antifungal which prevents the growth of fungi in the eye. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Beclometasone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make your eye red, swollen and itchy.

• If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
• Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
• Erocol Plus Ear Drop might cause blurring of vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
• Avoid contact with your nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the drop in these areas.
