How Ceflox-CF Cream works
Ceflox-CF Cream is a combination of two antibiotic (Ciprofloxacin, Neomycin), a steroid (Fluocinolone acetonide) and an antifungal (Clotrimazole). The antibiotics work by killing the bacteria that cause skin infections. The steroid blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. The antifungal stops the growth of fungi on skin by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.
