Candy B Cream

Candy B Cream is a topical application prescribed for fungal infections on the skin, such as ringworm, jock itch, athlete's foot and vaginal thrush. This cream works by stopping the growth of the fungus causing the infection and blocking the chemicals that cause inflammation on the skin. It treats burning, swollen, itching and irritated skin.

This combination medicine contains two ingredients. The first is clotrimazole, an antifungal drug used for local therapy that stops fungus growth. The second is beclometasone, a synthetic corticosteroid that blocks inflammation-inducing chemicals and treats swollen and irritated skin.

Candy B Cream is meant for external use only. Check the labels and instructions before applying. Do not apply on cuts, wounds and burnt skin. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, ears or mouth. Follow your doctor’s instructions on the duration and dosage of this topical application.

The usage of Candy B Cream does not usually cause severe side effects. This medicine is considered safe for most people. However, speak with your doctor if you have the following conditions: hypersensitivity to either beclometasone or clotrimazole, eczema (skin conditions that cause dry and irritated skin), tuberculosis, glaucoma, diabetes, Cushing's syndrome (the overproduction of hormone cortisol), skin cancer, or other skin conditions.

It works by preventing or blocking the skin cells from producing chemicals that cause inflammation. These chemicals can be triggered due to a variety of different factors. It also influences the immune cells and constricts the blood vessels to reduce swelling.
