Burnosaf Plus Cream

Burnosaf Plus Cream is an antibiotic medicine that helps your body fight infections caused by bacteria. It is used to prevent and treat infections of burn wounds. This medicine stops the bacteria from growing, which helps to resolve your symptoms.

Burnosaf Plus Cream is meant for external use only. It should be applied only to the affected area of the skin, after cleaning the wound. Use it as per the dosage and schedule prescribed by your doctor. In order to get the most benefit, apply it regularly and preferably at the same time each day. Do not use larger amounts or apply it more often or for a longer duration than directed. This will only increase the risk of side effects. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the medicine in these areas.

Use of this medicine may cause few common side effects such as burning sensation, itching, irritation, and swelling at the site of application. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own. Some people may develop a decreased white blood cell count while using this medicine. Consult your doctor if you experience any symptoms that do not go away or get worse.

Before using it, inform your doctor if you have any previous history of allergy to it or any other medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using it. Your doctor may monitor your blood cell counts during treatment.

Burnosaf Plus Cream helps in the prevention and treatment of infections during treatment of burns. It is also used as an antiseptic in minor cuts and abrasions. It kills the infectious microorganisms, reduces inflammation symptoms such as burning sensation, irritation and pain. This promotes healing of the burns/wounds. Continue using it as directed by the doctor to get maximum benefit.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

• Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness)
• Decreased white blood cell count

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Burnosaf Plus Cream is an antibiotic. It stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.

• Burnosaf Plus Cream prevents and treats infections of burn wounds.
• Clean the wound and then apply the cream to the affected area using sterile gloved hand or a sterile spatula.
• Apply it once or twice daily and re-apply to any areas from which it gets removed due to activity. Burn areas should be covered with the cream at all times.
• Continue to use Burnosaf Plus Cream as per the frequency and duration advised by your doctor.
