Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

• A Cold Suspension is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.

• Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.

• Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.

• Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, e.g., anti-depressants.

• Along with taking A Cold Suspension do the following simple tips at home to get relief:

  1. Steam inhalation.
  2. Gargling with warm saltwater.

  4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
