Tropicamide
Introduction To Tropicamide
Tropicamide is used before eye examinations and to treat an eye condition called uveitis. It acts by enlarging the pupil of the eyes and helps the doctor visualize the eye more closely. It reduces redness and swelling in the eyes after cataract surgery.
Tropicamide is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Refrain from touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
Common side effects include stinging sensation, blurred vision, and dry mouth. Usually, these symptoms are temporary and resolve with time. However, if the symptoms persist for a longer duration, let your doctor know. Avoid driving right after using this medicine as it may cause blurring of the vision.

in thorough examination of the eyes and its associated structures. It is used
by an eye specialist and should not be self-administered.
Uveitis
The middle layer in the inner wall of the eye is called uvea and any
inflammation in this layer is called uveitis. This may cause sudden noticeable
