Ciprofloxacin + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a medicine used to treat bacterial eye infections. It prevents the growth of the bacteria that cause infection in the eyes. It also relieves the symptoms of inflammation such as redness, itchiness, and irritation.

Ciprofloxacin + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed in the label.

Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.

It stops the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching, or irritation in the eyes. Ciprofloxacin + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose also adds moisture to the eyes and reduces dryness and burning sensation. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning. Apply Ciprofloxacin + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose at least 2-3 times in a day or as prescribed by the doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort in the eye.

• Ciprofloxacin + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose must be used as per dose and duration suggested by the doctor.
• If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
• Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
• Ciprofloxacin + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose might cause blurring of vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how medicine affects you.
• It is advisable to reduce screen time (by avoiding watching tv, or phone) and use sunglasses while going out into the sunlight.
