Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Methylcellulose + Naphazoline + Zinc is a combination of four medicines. It is used in the treatment of allergic eye diseases. It reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) of the eyes to relieve irritation, itching, discomfort, and irritation caused due to allergy.

Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Methylcellulose + Naphazoline + Zinc is strictly advised to use only in the eyes. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only to the affected eye. You must wash your hand before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

It is generally safe, but it may sometimes cause irritation, tingling sensation, and pain in the eyes. These effects are mild and usually go away in some time. However, if they stay for a long duration, you should consult the doctor.

Apart from using eye drops, it is advisable to wash your eyes with luke warm water to reduce discomfort.

Methylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Zinc works as an antiseptic to clear bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation.

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Methylcellulose + Naphazoline + Zinc provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy.
• It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
• In case the dropper tip gets contaminated, squeeze out two or three drops straightaway onto some tissue and rinse the tip with saltwater.
• After applying Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Methylcellulose + Naphazoline + Zinc, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
