Naphazoline is a sympathomimetic-alpha 1 medicine which narrows the blood vessels in the eye, thereby reducing redness and swelling.

  • Boric Acid + Naphazoline provides soothing relief from eye irritation due to allergy.
  • Boric Acid + Naphazoline should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day.
  • Wash your hands first before applying Boric Acid + Naphazoline. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
  • After applying Boric Acid + Naphazoline, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
  • If you normally wear contact lenses, please wear your spectacles instead until your doctor advises you that it is suitable for you to wear your lenses again.
